A recent wedding I photographed at St Mark's Church in Cheltenham was truly memorable. William and Sarah chose this stunning venue right in the heart of historic Cheltenham to celebrate their special day. The day was filled with joy, starting with the ceremony at the glorious church, where every detail reflected the couple's love and commitment.
After the ceremony, we made our way to Hatherley Manor, set in 37 acres of beautiful parkland in Gloucestershire, for the reception. The setting was perfect for the 100 guests who joined to celebrate with William and Sarah. One of the highlights of the day, at least for me as a documentary wedding photographer, was the photo rush. This fun idea involved the couple seated on the dance floor while guests from each table dash to them for a quick photo before the music stops. It was a whirlwind of activity, and we managed to capture every shot just in time. Although William's chair did break in all the excitement!
"Gary was amazing, his photography style was outstanding, it was like he was not even there! I found him by pure luck on Hitched. He was by far the best priced of a lot of quotes I received. We had one video call with him for 45 mins and that was all he needed. Gary managed to get all the love my wife and I had on the day. He was a genuine guy who I really like, so please book him for your wedding!! He is ACE."

Later, during the reception, the first dance added another layer of excitement with a surprise balloon drop that delighted everyone. It was these candid moments, filled with genuine emotion and fun, that truly made the day unforgettable.
