A stunning venue for your Special Day


Capturing Jack and Jodie's wedding at St John's Wood Church was an absolute pleasure. Their story is one of those that started quietly, with a brief connection as teenagers, only to blossom into a lifelong partnership in their early twenties. There's something special about photographing a couple whose journey began in such a familiar, yet unexpected, way.


The choice of St John's Wood Church was deeply personal for Jack and Jodie. It's where their children were baptised and it's close to where Jodie grew up. The ceremony itself was beautiful, with the rain mercifully holding off until we had to retreat indoors for the group photos. This gave us the opportunity to really highlight the stunning architecture inside the church—a setting that provided a timeless backdrop for those intimate moments.

Frederick's Restaurant - The Perfect Wedding Reception venue


After the ceremony, we headed to Frederick's restaurant, a place with significant sentimental value for the couple. Not only was it one of the first places they visited together, but it also holds memories of Jack's childhood outings with his family. Nestled in Camden Passage, it's a venue close to my heart as well, especially since I've recently opened an outdoor exhibition of portraits nearby.


Frederick's is perfect for a celebration like this, with its beautiful garden, separate bar, and spacious main restaurant. The day was filled with emotion, particularly during the speeches, which led up to the cake cutting and the first dance. Every moment was captured in the candid, documentary style that I love, focusing on genuine emotions and the unguarded joy of the day.
