Amelia and Katie's Islington Town Hall Wedding with a Reception at The Snooty Fox


Amelia and Katie were married on a beautiful August day at Islington Town Hall before celebrating with family and friends at The Snooty Fox, just a short walk away. As a documentary wedding photographer at Islington Town Hall, it's always a pleasure photographing weddings here, and the Richmond Suite was the perfect setting for their relaxed and emotional ceremony.


With around 50 guests, the day felt intimate without being small. After the ceremony we made the most of the walk through Islington, stopping for a few natural portraits along the way before everyone gathered again for the reception. It's one of the reasons I enjoy being a documentary wedding photographer at Islington, as everything is within easy walking distance and the day flows naturally.

A relaxed reception at The Snooty Fox


The Snooty Fox is one of my favourite local pubs and it suited Amelia and Katie's plans perfectly. The outdoor terrace gave guests plenty of space to chat and catch up before everyone sat down for a great meal, plenty of cake and an evening of dancing. They'd mentioned that having relaxed photos with friends was important to them, so there was lots of time to capture those moments without interrupting the celebrations.
