Christina and Bobby’s Micro Wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall, London
Christina and Bobby’s wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall was everything a micro wedding in London should be. A happy couple, a beautiful venue, plenty of laughter and a few happy tears. With just six guests, it was an intimate celebration, but it never felt small. There was so much emotion throughout the day, including a lovely reading from their son, Giorgio.
Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of London’s most popular wedding venues, and it’s easy to see why. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are always kind and helpful, and the exterior is just as impressive. Even with a little rain, the day went smoothly, with plenty of opportunities for natural wedding photography.
Why Old Marylebone Town Hall Is Perfect for a Micro Wedding
One of the biggest advantages of getting married at Old Marylebone Town Hall is how much there is to work with photographically. The elegant interiors provide a beautiful setting for the ceremony, while the iconic pillars and photogenic portico make a wonderful backdrop for family photographs and couple portraits. You don’t need a huge guest list or an elaborate schedule to create a collection of meaningful wedding photos.
Christina and Bobby were also lucky enough to have the last ceremony of the day. This meant we could take our time with the photographs rather than rushing to make way for the next wedding. We captured plenty of family photos outside and made the most of the famous alcoves for some relaxed couple portraits. After a couple of hours together, I waved everyone goodbye as they headed to the Landmark Hotel to continue the celebrations. It was a lovely reminder that a small wedding can have all the emotion and atmosphere of a much bigger day.
