A Fabulous Halloween Wedding at Camden Town Hall
Katrina and Katherine chose Halloween for their wedding at Camden Town Hall, and they certainly made the most of it. Dressed with great style, they brought a lovely touch of originality to the day, complete with the most beautiful crocheted bouquet and matching buttonhole. With just 23 guests, it was an intimate celebration full of personality, laughter and plenty of lovely moments.
The couple first met on a dating app after Katrina had moved to the area. Living close to one another, they arranged to meet for coffee and cake during a lunch break. Katrina remembers nervously babbling away for an hour while Katherine remained calm and collected. She even wondered whether she had talked too much, so was pleasantly surprised when Katherine asked her on a second date. The rest, as they say, is history.
A Beautiful Halloween Wedding at Camden Town Hall
I always enjoy photographing weddings at Camden Town Hall. The registrars and staff are incredibly helpful, the ceremonies never feel rushed or crowded, and the building itself offers some wonderful opportunities for photographs. The magnificent marble staircase is a particular favourite, and it was the perfect setting for some photographs of Katrina and Katherine together. Their ceremony took place in the lovely, airy Heath Suite, with their closest family and friends there to share the occasion.
After the ceremony, we made the most of the time with photographs on the staircase, a wonderful confetti moment outside and some relaxed portraits around the side of the building. I then joined the couple in a black cab, which is always a great opportunity for some lovely urban photographs. I was booked for just two hours, but it never ceases to amaze me how much of a wedding story can be told in such a short time. Katrina and Katherine's Halloween wedding was a brilliant example of that.
