Lizzie and Prem at Old Marylebone Town Hall
Lizzie and Prem’s wedding was one of those days that just felt easy from the start. Small, relaxed, and full of laughter, with ten of their closest people there to share it. The Pimlico Room at Old Marylebone Town Hall suited them perfectly. Light, simple, and just the right size for something this personal. As a documentary wedding photographer at London, it’s always nice to work in a space where nothing feels overdone and the focus stays on what’s actually happening.
They chose to include their own vows during the ceremony, which added a lot. It doesn’t need to be complicated, but it always brings something more honest into the room. A bit of nervous laughter, a few emotional moments, and a real sense of who they are together. Exactly the kind of thing that leads to Beautiful photos for people who won’t like to pose.
A relaxed walk and an intimate meal
After a proper confetti moment on the steps outside, we took a short walk through the streets towards Café Murano. They’d booked a private dining room, which is surprisingly hard to find for a group of around 10–15 people. This one worked really well. It felt private without being cut off, and the atmosphere stayed relaxed the whole way through.
We also made a bit of time for some London-themed portraits along the way. Nothing staged, just using what was there — traffic passing, street signs, the usual city movement. As a documentary wedding photographer at Old Marylebone Town Hall, those in-between moments are often the ones that end up meaning the most.
