Anusheh and Sebastian’s Intimate Wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall


Anusheh and Sebastian’s wedding was a perfect example of how much you can fit into a small wedding. With just 11 guests, they chose the beautiful Pimlico Room at Old Marylebone Town Hall for their ceremony, followed by a walk through Marylebone and a meal at The Italian Greyhound on Seymour Street.


They first met at university nearly 10 years ago, living in the same student accommodation in bedrooms opposite each other. Their choice of venue also had a personal connection, as Marylebone is the station they travel into from the first home they bought together. It was a lovely way to bring a little of their story into their wedding day.

A micro wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall


Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of London’s most popular wedding venues, and it has become even busier in recent years. The architecture is a big part of its appeal, and the Pimlico Room was a lovely choice for Anusheh and Sebastian’s intimate ceremony. The registrars are experienced and organised, helping everything run smoothly. There were happy tears from the moment the couple entered the room right through to the signing of the register.


Despite the busy surroundings, we still had time for photographs on the famous steps before walking to The Italian Greyhound. I love this restaurant for small weddings because its semi-private dining area works so well for a close group of family and friends. In just two hours, we captured the ceremony, family photographs and natural moments of the couple enjoying each other’s company. You really can fit a lot into a short wedding photography booking when the day is planned well.

Gary was absolutely fantastic at our Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding. He was knowledgeable and managed the process before, during, and after the ceremony. He made the day so straightforward for us, and for people who do not like photos, he made us incredibly comfortable throughout. Gary was extremely pleasant to be around and was positively received by all the guests. Wedding photographers have a great impact on the wedding day, and we are so relieved we chose Gary.
