Is that time of year again when we look back and take stock of everything that happened. I do actually have one more wedding to shoot but I felt it was time to whittle down my favourites from the year so far and choose my top 10.

There have been so many amazing moments this year, all for different reasons. Some of these photos made the list because they capture the energy or emotion of a moment. Others are here because I love the composition or the storytelling. And there are a few where I had a bit of breathing space to slow things down and make something a little more creative with my couples.

Taken together, these photos pretty much sum up the kind of wedding photography I love making, and why I still love photographing weddings so much. I’m genuinely and deeply grateful to every couple who trusted me this year. I photographed over 70 weddings, and I can honestly say every single one was a joy.
