Nikhil and Gee’s Camden Town Hall Wedding


Nikhil and Gee’s wedding was one of my favourite weddings of the year, and there were plenty of reasons for that. Camden Town Hall is one of my favourite venues, with its simple elegance and the warmest of welcomes. It was the perfect place for their ceremony, with Gee making her entrance into the Heath Suite for the first time they saw each other that day.


After the ceremony, everyone headed to Kricket Shoreditch for lunch. The food, atmosphere and simple decor made it a great choice for the celebration, while the restaurant also had a lovely connection to their Indian family heritage. With 75 guests joining them for lunch, there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy drinks, food and time together.

The perfect London wedding


The biggest reason I loved this wedding so much, though, was the absolute joy that everyone brought to the day. Nikhil and Gee are one of those couples you just know are a perfect match. They spent much of the day laughing and smiling, and that happiness seemed to spread to everyone around them.


There were plenty of formal family photographs to fit in, including pictures with their two elders and two young babies, but there was also plenty of time for the more natural moments. For me, that was exactly what the day was about. Nikhil and Gee wanted a candid photograph of the two of them simply having fun together, whether that happened at Camden, Kricket or somewhere along the journey between the two. Those are often the photographs that mean the most.


As a natural wedding photographer, those genuine moments are what I love looking for, and a day filled with this much happiness is a pretty wonderful way to spend it.

We could not recommend Gary highly enough! He made our special day even more special at Camden Town Hall and our celebratory lunch. His amazing photography captured authentic moments from the ceremony and the celebrations. But Gary is more than a photographer. His detailed preparation, kindness, direction and good humour means he allowed us and our guests to feel settled and enjoy the day that little bit more. 10/10 experience!
