Proposal Photographer in London

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding proposal at one of London’s most iconic spots—Tower Bridge. The groom-to-be, was eager to have this historic backdrop while he got down on one knee to ask his other half to spend her life with him. Central London is always buzzing with energy, and Tower Bridge attracts thousands of tourists daily. This made for an exciting challenge, as my task was to capture the intimacy of this special moment while artfully dodging tourists in the background!

Thankfully, we got the shot, and I’m delighted to say that N. said a resounding "Yes!" The look on her face as he asked was simply beautiful, and the joy they both radiated was contagious. As a photographer, moments like these remind me why I love capturing proposal photography in London.

"Gary is an amazing person. His creativity and attention to detail is unmatched. From the moment we started, he made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed. Every shot captured our personalities and those special candid moments we’ll cherish forever. The lighting, the angles, and the colours were simply perfect. He put in so much effort to get those amazing shots. It’s clear that he has a true passion for what he does, and it shines through in every photo."

Candid Photography at Borough Market

After the big moment at the Bridge, we took a stroll over to Borough Market, where the atmosphere is always lively and colourful. Known for its iconic food stalls and vibrant setting, Borough Market offered a fantastic backdrop for some more candid shots. We captured the excitement of the moment with natural, spontaneous photos among the bustling market crowd.

To wrap up this incredible day, we jumped in a cab and headed to the Embankment, aiming to get one last shot as dusk settled over the Thames. With the Millennium Wheel illuminating the sky in the distance, I captured one final portrait of this wonderful couple. The city lights twinkling around them added just the right touch of magic.

G. and N. were a joy to work with—full of energy, love, and laughter. If their warmth together during the shoot is any indication, they’ve got a bright and happy future ahead of them.
