A Dream Wedding Followed by a Walk Along Regent's Canal
Ritika and Ayush's wedding was a delightful celebration in the beautiful light and airy Heath room at Camden Town Hall. With no other bookings after their ceremony, they had ample time for a truly memorable service. You'll think I always say that (and I sort of do! lol), but this one really was special.
One of the highlights was the custom of warming the rings, a tradition with roots in Ireland. It's a touching practice where the rings are passed around to everyone in attendance, and each person takes a moment to pass on their thoughts, prayers, and good energy to the couple. Regardless of your religion or not, it's a beautiful gesture.
The day was filled with smiles and laughter, not just from the couple but from all the guests. It was genuinely one of the happiest weddings I've had the pleasure to capture. The joy was palpable as two lovely families came together to celebrate the union of two wonderful young people. After the ceremony, we had the classic confetti shower and took some group shots on the iconic staircase inside the town hall. Then, we wandered through the vibrant streets, past Saint Pancras station, and into Coal Drops Yard, capturing beautiful moments along the way.
Word On The Water - A Special Spot for this wedding couple
Our final destination was the floating bookshop on the Regent's Canal, known as Word on the Water. This location held special meaning for Ayush, who fondly remembered visiting it during her student days in London. Back then, she couldn't afford to buy a book, but she dreamt of the day she could. It was a perfect spot to end our walk on such a special wedding day.
