Zoe and Stewart’s wedding was a celebration bursting with love, family and picture-perfect moments. With their four children at the heart of the day and flawless blue skies overhead, this was a day filled with warmth and joy. As a London-based documentary wedding photographer, it was a dream to capture the genuine emotions that flowed so naturally. From candid, heartfelt moments to dramatic, golden-hour shots, the day offered endless opportunities for creative and memorable photography.

Dramatic Wedding Photography and Candid Moments


One of the standout moments for me was during the bridal preparation, where the anticipation in the room was electric. It’s a time of excitement, and I love the energy it brings to the day. The country house setting of Trunkwell House provided the perfect backdrop, and we were able to take advantage of the stunning grounds to create some truly striking images. The contrast between the relaxed, candid shots and the more creative, dramatic photos worked beautifully, adding depth to the collection of images. I really loved the venue and the staff were are welcoming and the place itself.


Stewart, like many, wasn’t too keen on being photographed initially, but I always strive to make the experience fun and stress-free. In the end, we managed to capture so much in a short amount of time, with everyone feeling comfortable and relaxed.


It was a privilege to be part of such a special day, and I hope the photos reflect the love, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime for Zoe, Stewart, and their family.

I usually make my couples a slideshow of some of the day's highlights. I prefer to call it a Photo Film because, carefully set to music, I think they really tell the story of the day. They are a lovely way to relive the key moments.
