Your Perfect Day from Start to Finish at Morden Park House

Tucked away in the green serenity of South West London, Morden Park House offers the perfect combination of historic charm and relaxed elegance for your wedding day. As a wedding photographer who has worked at this venue many times, I can confidently say that Morden Park is a gem — not just for its beauty, but for the calm and personal experience it offers every couple.

From its Georgian architecture and tree-lined approach to the rose-filled courtyard and romantic wooden gazebo, Morden Park House sets a storybook backdrop for your wedding from beginning to end.

Not to be confused with Morden Hall

Be careful not to confuse Morden Park House with Morden Hall. There is close to each other and both lovely wedding venues. I photograph at both, but be careful your guests are aware which venue they need to go to! I know wedding photographers who has turned up at the wrong place and had to rush to the other one!

Ceremony Venue: Morden Park House

Located within the landscaped grounds of Morden Park, this Grade II-listed Georgian manor has been carefully preserved and updated to host both intimate and larger weddings. The interiors feature classic period detailing, large sash windows, and natural light that brings a soft glow to your ceremony photos.

You have several beautiful options for your ceremony:

  • Sheridan Room: ideal for small weddings of up to 30 guests, full of natural light and French doors that open onto the garden.
  • Lord Nelson Room: holds around 40 guests, combining character and elegance.
  • Ewart Room: the largest indoor space, fitting up to 100 guests and perfect for couples wanting a grander ceremony.
  • The Garden Gazebo: between May and September, you can exchange vows outdoors under a handmade wooden gazebo, surrounded by roses and trailing greenery — a stunning choice for spring or summer ceremonies.

One of the lovely personal touches Morden Park offers is the option to be interviewed separately before the ceremony, so you can have that emotional "first look" moment as one of you walks down the aisle.
