two families, two venues and one happy ending

I had a great day yesterday with Rachael and Adrian for their wedding, starting at Stoke Place then moving onto Q Vardis just a short drive away. The couple were looking for natural, documentary style shots, without too much posing and fuss - which just happens to be my specialty!

As you can see from the photos, it was a lively, fun day with a lot of love. I honestly love my job. Getting to spend time with people on their happiest of days is just a joy for me.

"We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our special day than Gary Williams. From the moment we met him, his professionalism and friendly approach made us feel like he was part of the family. Gary's experience and talent shone through in every shot he captured, effortlessly seizing those genuine, heartfelt moments that made our day truly unforgettable."

how to get beautiful wedding photos without the fuss

I spent most of my time as a candid photographer, looking for interesting, natural moments. I'm always happy to do a few group shots (has to be done!) and I had about 15 mins with the couple. Most people don't want to pose for photos they find it awkward and uncomfortable - but at the same time they do want beautiful photos of them together. This is why I keep the couple shoot fun and short. I don't really pose my couples - I prefer to give them simple cues that set the shot up but keep everything natural and relaxed. This means we get really natural looking wedding shots without the fuss.
