Rianne and Mustafa’s wedding at Northbrook Park was one of those days where everything just came together perfectly. They’re a couple who know how to enjoy themselves, and that really showed from start to finish. Having photographed their pre-wedding shoot in London – one of those images even won a photography award – I already knew they’d be brilliant in front of the camera.
The setting couldn’t have been better. Northbrook Park has this rare mix of elegance and charm that makes it feel like it was built just for weddings. From the bridal suite moments with Rianne and her dad to the big celebrations on the dance floor with sparklers and a smoke machine, it was a day full of emotion and energy.

The details that made the day stand out
With Rianne working as a designer, it was no surprise the details were spot on. From the flowers to the table settings, everything looked carefully thought through yet natural. I especially loved the way the floral displays tied into the rest of the day – it made photographing those small touches as rewarding as the big moments.
The couple portraits outside the front of the manor house were a highlight. We also returned there later as the sun was setting for some creative flash shots that really stood out. These are the kinds of images that capture the atmosphere of a wedding, the balance between elegance and fun. As a documentary wedding photographer at Northbrook Park, it’s days like these that remind me why I love this job – beautiful photos for people who don’t like to pose, natural wedding photography that reflects the day exactly as it was.
